Part-1

Surah: 18: Al Kahaf (The Cave)

In the name of Allah, the most gracious, the most merciful.

1. Praises to Allah, who has sent the kitab to those who do ebadat of Allah and has not put in that any crookedness.2. (Made it) straight to give warning (to kafirs ) of a sevens penalty (hell) from Allah. And to give happy news to mumins, who practice saleha , that they shall have a good reward (paradise).3. They shall live in there forever.4. And to warn those who say,' 'Allah has taken to Own self a son." 5. They have no knowledge of such a tiling and their fathers (also) held not. A grievous thing comes out from their mouth as a saying. They say nothing but a lie.
6. Probably you (Muhammad) will kill yourself in grief, in pursuing them, if they do not believe in this narration (Quran). 7. In fact, that which We have made as a glittering show on the earth, so that We may test them (mankind), which of them are best in deeds. 8. And surely, We shall make all that on it (earth) a dry dusty soil.9. Do you think that the companions of the cave and there the inscription were wonders among Our signs? 10. Look! When the young men fled for shelter to the cave, then they said,Our Rab ! Give us mercy from Yourself and deal our affairs rightly for us! 11. So, We covered up their ears (out of hearing in sleep) for a number of years in the cave. 12. Then, We raised them up (from sleep), so as to test which of the two parities (in doubt) was better in calculating the period of time they had stayed (in sleep).

-2-

13. We describe their news to you in truth. In fact, they were youths having iman on their Rab and We added (more) guidance to them. 14. And We gave them strength. When they stood up,then said,Our Rab is the Rab of heavens and (of the) earth. We shall never call upon any ilah, besides Allah; (if we did) definitely, we should have said an excess! 15. These, our people have taken for worship gods besides Allah. Why they do not put up a clear authority on that? Then, who is more zalim than the one who invents a lie about Allah? 16. (They said within themselves),And when you have withdrawn from them and from that they worship other than Allah, then take shelter in the cave. Your Rab will expand of the mercy and put your affair to ease and comfort.17. And if you would see the sun, when it rose, moving away to the right from their cave and when it set, turning away from them to the left And they lay in the open space in the middle of it (cave). This is of signs of Allah. Whom Allah guides, they ate rightly guided and whom Allah leaves in the wrong, for them you will not find any waif to lead them (to the light path).

-3-

18. You would have thought them awake, while they were in sleep. And we aimed them over to their right and over to their left sides. And their dog was stretching out two forelegs at the entrance. If you had come on them, it is certain you would have turned back from them in fear and would have certainly been in tenor of them. 19. And in such (condition) We raised them up (from sleep), that icy may ask each other. A speaker from them said, "How long have you stayed (in here)?" They said, "(May be) we have stayed a day or a part of a day. They (all) said, "Your Rab knows best how long you have stayed here. Then send one of you with this money to the city, then let him find out which is the best food (pure and lawful), then bring your rijiq of that. And let him behave carefully and not to inform any one of you (to people). 20. As, if they should come on you, they would stone you
or make you back to their culture and you will never succeed in that case."
21.And thus We made them known, that they (people) might know the promise of Allah is true and there can be no doubt about the hour (of the judgment). When they (people) were in dispute among themselves about their (cave men) affair, then, said (some), "Make a building over them, their Rab knows best of them." Those who won over their matter said, "Certainly we shall build a mosque over them" 22. (Some of them) say, they were three, the dog is the fourth of them and (some) say, they were five, the dog is the sixth of them, making a guess on the ghaib and (other) say, they were seven, the dog is the eighth of them. Say, "My Rab knows best of their number. Except a few, other do not know of their (number)" So, do not be in debate on them except on a clear matter and do not consult any of them, about them (cave men).

-4-

23. And never say of anything, 'It is sure, I shall do this and this tomorrow; 24. Without saying, "If Allah wishes!" And remember your Rab when you forget and say, "I hope my Rab will guide me to nearer way than this to the right path." 25. And they stayed in their cave for three hunched (solar) year and added to that nine (more for lunar years). 26. Say,"Allah knows best how long they stayed Allah is (with the knowledge) of the ghaib of heavens and the earth. Allah sees and hears (all). They have no way besides Allah and Allah does not share the decision with any one.27. And recite what has been revealed to you of the kitab of your Rab. None can change Words and you will not get any one for shelter besides Allah. 28. And keep yourselves in patience with those who call their Rab morning and evening, seeking face of Allah. And do not let your eyes over look them, who wish the pomp and glitter of the life of the world And do not obey any, whose heart We have made to be heedless of Our remembrance, one who follows own wishes and whose matter (deeds) has crossed all limits.29. And say, 'The truth is from your Rab." Then who wish let them believe and who wish let them disbelieve. It is sure We have prepared for zalims a fire, that like walls and roof of a tent will be encircling them. And if they ask for help, they will be granted water -like molten metal, which will bum their faces. How terrible dink and what an uneasy couch
(they will have)! 30. As to those who me in iman and practice saleha, definitely, We shall not make to get lost the reward of any who does good deeds. 31. They will have everlasting gardens (paradise), beneath which river will flow; they will be decorated in there with bracelets of gold and they will wear green garments of fine silk and heavy brocade, reclining in there on raised thrones. How good is the repayment (reward for them) and how excellent a couch to recline on!

-5-

32. And put out to them the example of two men, to one of them We gave two gardens of grapes and surrounded both of those with date palms. And in between
the two We put cornfields. 33. Each of the gardens gave out its yield and did not fail in there at all. And in the middle of those We made a river to flow. 34. And he held (plenty of) produce. He said to his companion in a casual talk, "I am richer in wealth than you and stronger in (terms of) men." 35. He went to his garden in a (mental) state of zulum (pride and kufr0) to himself. He said, 'I do not think this will be ever mined . And I do not think that the hour (qiamah) will ever come and if I am really brought back to my ,I shall surely find (there) some thing better than this." 37. His companion said to him during talk, "Do you do kufr on Allah who created you out of dust then out of nutfah, then fashioned you to a man? 38. But for my part (I think), Allah is my Rab and I put none as shyrk with Allah. 39. And when you entered your garden, why did you not say, That (it will be) which Allah wishes! There is no power except with Allah!' If you see me less in wealth and children than you, 40. It may be that my Rab will give me something better than your garden and that Allah will send on it (on your gardens) thunderbolts from
the sky, then it will be a slippery ground 41. Or the water of it will sink (underground),so that you will never be able to find it" 42. And his yields were surrounded (with nun). Then he was in twisting and turning ova- his hands for what he spent on it, and (all) fell down to pieces to its foundations. And he said, 'Would that, I had put none as shyrk with Allah!" 43. And he had no number (of men) to help him against Allah and (also) he could not save himself. 44. There, the protection comes (only) from Allah, the true one. Allah is the best to reward and best for best consequences.

-6-

45. And put out to them the example of the life in this world Which is like the rain that We send from the sky, then the vegetation of the earth absorbs it (becoming fresh and green) . Then (afterward), it becomes dry broken pieces, which the wind scatter. And Allah has power over every thing. 46. Wealth and children are the beauty of the life of this world but saleha that last are better with your Rab for reward and better as hopes. 47. And one day We shall remove mountains and you will see the earth as leveled, stretched plain. And We shall gather them all together, then no one of them will be left (back). 48. And they will be presented before your Rab in ranks (Allah saying), "In reality, you have come to Us (bare) as We created you at the first time. Not only that, you thought that We shall not fulfill Our promise made to you to meet (Us)!'' 49. And the records (of deeds) will be placed (before you), then you will see mujrims in terror as to what is (recorded) in there. And they will say, "Sorrow to us! What a record is this! It left nothing small and great, without taking account thereof!" And they will find all that they did, present before them and no one will be Heated by your Rab with injustice.

-7-

50. And when We said to angels, "Prostrate yourselves to Adam.'" Then, they prostrated themselves except Iblis, one of jinns, who broke the order of his Rab. Will you then take him and his offspring (followers) as aulya, leaving Me? And they are enemies to you! Worst will be the exchange for zalims.51.I did not make them (Iblis and his follower) to witness the creation of heavens and the earth and not (even in) creating them. And it is not for Me to take as helper those who lead to wrong (way). 52. One day Allah will say, "Call on those whom you thought to be shyrk with Me." Then they will call on those, but those will not listen to them. And We shall put a barrier in between. 53. And mujlims shall see the fire, then, they will understand that they are going to fall in there and they will find no means to turn away from there.

-8-

54. And in fact. We have explained in detail, every kind of example in this Quran for mankind. But, man is quarrelsome in most things. 55. And what is there to keep back mankind to be in iman, when guidance has come to them and from praying pardon" from their Rab? Is it nothing other than that (they wish) the ways of the old be repeated with them or the penalty be bought to them face to face?

Part-2

Surah: 18:: Al Kahf (The Cave)

In the name of Allah, the most gracious, the most merciful.

55. And what is there to keep back mankind to be in iman, when guidance has come to them and from praying pardon" from their Rab? Is it nothing other than that (they wish) the ways of the old be repeated with them or the penalty be bought to them face to face? 56. And We send lasuls for nothing other than to give happy news (of paradise to mumins) and to give warning (of hell to kafirs). And those who are kafir, dispute with false arguments, so as to refute the truth by that. And they treat my ayat and that with what they are warned as a mockery. 57. And who does more zulum than one, when who is reminded of ayat of the Rab,then turns away from those and facets which (deeds) hands of that one have sent out?
Definitely, We have put screens over their hearts, so that they do not understand it and (put) over their air deafness. And if you call them to guidance, then, they will never take the guidance. 58. And your Rab is most pardoning, Owner of mercy. If Allah was to call them to account for what they have earned (of their deeds), Allah would have quickened their penalty. More over, they have been promised for a time fixed, in extend to which they will get no shelter. 59. And thus populations were destroyed, when they did zulum. And We promised a time fixed for their destruction.

-9-

60. And Musa said to his attendant, "I will not give up (journey), until I leach the point of meeting of the two seas or I will travel for ages.''61. When, they leached the point of meeting of the sea they fagot of their fish, which took its way through the sea as in a tunnel. 62. When they had gone further Musa said to his attendant, "Bring us our morning meal. In fact, we are in much fatigue for this journey of us." 63. He replied, "Did you see (of that), when we took ourselves to the rock for lest? I really forgot of the fish, none but the satan made me forget to tell of that (to you). It took its way to the sea in a strange manner!" 64. Said (Musa:A), "That is the place we want" So, they went back following their footsteps. 65. Then, they found one of those who do Our ebadat, on whom We gave mercy from Ourselves and whom We taught knowledge from Us. 66. Musa said to him,"May I follow you on that you teach me something of the truth, which you have been taught?67. Said (he), "It is sure, you will not be able to hold patience with me! 68. And how can you hold patience on things of which your understanding is not complete?" 69. Musa said, "You will find me in patience if Allah wishes and I shall not disobey you in any matter." 70. Said (he), 'Then, if you follow me, do not question me on anything, until I myself tell you of it".

-10-

71. So, they both went ahead, until, when they were in the bait He made an opening underneat h it. Said (Musa), "Have you made the opening, so as to drown those in it? In fact, you have done a worst thing!" 72. He said, "Did I not tell you that, you can not have patience with me?" 73. Said (Musa: A), "Do not rebuke me I or forgetting and do not be hard on me for this matter of mine.'' 74. So, they both went ahead, until, when they met a boy. Then, he killed him. Said (MusaA), 'Have you killed an innocent person, who have (killed) none'? In I act you have done a great evil tiling." 75. Said (he), " Did I not tell you that you can not have patience with me?" 76. Said (Musa:A), "If I ask any thing after this, do not keep me with you, then you have got enough excuse from me.''77. Then they went ahead, until they came to the people of a town. They asked them for food, but they refused to entertain them. Then, they found in there a wall about to fall down, but he set it up straight. Said (Musa:A), 'If you had wished, you could have taken wages for it!'' 78. Said (he),' This is the parting between me and you. Now, I will tell you the meaning of (things), over which you were unable to have patience.79. As for the boat, it belonged to some masakin persons, plying on water. So, I wished to make it unserviceable, as after them there was a king who captured every boat by force.80. As for the boy, his parents were mumins and we feared that he would put them to grief by rebellion and kufr. 81. So, we wished that their Rab gives him, in exchange (a son) better in purity (behavior) and closer in affection (to them). 82. As for the wall, it belonged to two orphan boys in the town. Under it there was a treasure, of which they were entitled and their father was one who practice saleha'. So, your Rab wished that they should attain their age of full strength (maturity) and take out their treasure as a mercy from your Rab. I did not do those of my own accord That is the meaning of those (things) over- which you could not have patience.''

-11-

83. They ask you about Dhul Qamain. Say,' I shall narrate to you something of his story."84. In fact, We established him on earth (in power) and We gave him the ways and means of everything.85. So, he followed one path, 86. Till he reached the setting place of the sun and found it setting in a spring of black muddy water. And he found near it a people. We said, "O Dhul Qamain! Either you punish them or you treat them with kindness (you have the authority)." 87. He said "He who does zulum, we shall punish him. Then, he shall be sent back to the Rab and the Rab will punish him with a grievous penalty. 88. And one who
is in iman and practice saleha"I shall have the best reward and what we tell him of our order will be easy for him." 89. Then he followed (another) path. 90. Until, when he came to the place of the rising of the sun. He found it rising on a people for whom We had not given any covering for shelter against the sun. 91 .It (was so left) and We knew all about him.92. Then he followed (another) path. 93. Until, when he leached (a tract) in between two mountains and below those he found, a people who hardly understood a word of him. 94. They said, "O Dhul Qamain! In fact, Yajuj and Majuj are doing much fasad on the earth. Then, shall we pay you taxes, so that you might build a barrier in between as and them? 95. He said, 'That in which my Rab held established me is better. So, help me with strength (of labour), I will .set up a strong barrier in between you and them. 96.Bring me blocks of iron." Until, when he filled up the gap between the two steep mountains,
he said, "Blow (with fire)." Then, when he made those to fire, he said, "Bring me molten lead (or copper), that I may pour over it." 97. So, they (Yajuj and Majuj) could not scale it and (also could not) dig through it 98. He said, "This is a mercy from my Rab, but when the promise of my Rab comes to being, my Rab will make it to dust And the promise of my Rab is true.99. And on that day (the day Yajuj and Majuj come out), We shall leave them move like waves on one another and the trumpet will be blown, then We shall gather them all together.100. And on that day We shall spread out the hell to have a view for kafiis, 101. Whose eyes held been under a covering from My remembrance and who had been (also) unable to hear.

-12-

102. Do kafirs think that they can take my servants (angels, rasuls , Isa:A and others) as aulya besides Me? In fact We have prepared hell as an entertainment for kafirs. 103. Say,"Shall we tell of them, who are most losers for their deeds? 104. Those whose efforts have been wasted in the life of this world and they I knight that they were having good out of their deeds.'' 105. They are those who deny
ayat of their Rab and the meeting with the Rab. So, their deeds are useless. Then on the day of qiamah, We shall not give them any value (at till). 106. That shalI be their repayment the hell, as they did kufr and took My ayat and My rasuls as mockery.107.Ceitainly, those who are in iman and practice saleha, shall have the gardens of paradise for their entertainment, 108. In where they shall live, they wi11 not wish any change from there.109. Say, "If the ocean were ink for (writing) words of my Rab, the ocean would be finished before words of my Rab would lie completed, even if we added another like it for help." 110. Say,"In fact I am a Man like you.It has been revealed to me that, your ilah is one ilah(Allah). So,any who hopes to meet the Rab,let the one practice saleha and let that one not to put any as shyrk in the ebadat of the Rab.

Surah: 36: YaSin

In the name of Allah, the most gracious, the most merciful.

1.Ya Sin (meaining of these letters is known only to Allah). 2. By the Quran, full of wisdom. 3. Definitely, you are one of rasuls. 4. On a straight way. 5. (Quran is a revelation) sent down by the mighty, the merciful. 6. So that you may warn a people, whose father were not warned so they are heedless (of Allah).7. The world (of penalty) is proved tine against most of them, then, they will not I relieve. 8. Indeed,We have put yokes roundtheir necks up to their chins, so that their heads are raised up (off normal view). 9. AndWe have put a barrier in front of them and a barrier at their back. Then, We have covered them up, so they can not see. 10. And it is same for them, whether you warn or you do not warn them; they will not believe.11.In fact, you can only warn that one who follows the reminder and fears the most gracious (Allah) of ghaib'. So, give such one the happy news ofpardon1 " and of a generous reward 12. Indeed, We shall give life to the dead and We record that which they send before and that which they leave back. And We have taken account of all things in a clear book.13. Set out to them by way of similarity, the (story of the) dwellers of the city, when there came rasuls to it. 14. When We sent to them two rasuls, then they I relied them both. Then We strengthen them with a third, then they said. "In fact. We have been sent to you as rasuls." 15. Said (the people), "You are no other than men like us and the most gracious (Allah) has not sent anything (of revelation). You tell nothing other than lie." 16. They said"Our Rab definitely knows that, We have been sent as rasuls to you. 17. And our duty is nothing other than to convey the clear message." 18. The people said "Surely, we foretell an ill sign liom you. If you do not stop, it is sure we will stone you and a painful penalty will touch you from us.'' 19. They said "Your ill signs are with you. If you are advised us it an ill sign)? More over, you are a people crossing over all limits (set by Allah)." 20. And there came a man running from the farthest pan of the city, saying, "O my people! Obey rasuls! 21. Obey them, who ask for no reward of you and who are guided (rightly). 22. And it would not be right for me if I do not do ebadat1()of Allah, who created me and to Whom you all shall be bought back. 23. Shall I take (other) ilah leaving Allah? If the most gracious (Allah) intends me any harm, whatever may be their mediation, that will be of no use for me and they (also) can not save me. 24. Then indeed I should be in clear error. 25. In fact, I have imarf7 in the Rab of (all of) you. So. listen to me!"26. It was said (to him when kafirsr0 tolled him), "You enter the garden." He said, "Would that my people knew! 27. That my Rab has pardoned me and has made me of the honored ones!" 28. And after him, We did not send against his people any army from the heaven and also it was not needed to do that for Us. 29. It was no more than a mighty blast and look they were calmed down! 30. SORROW upon servants (of Me)! Of rasuls' none come to them, they do nothing other than mock tit him. 31. Do they not see, how many generations We destroyed before them? They will not return to them. 32. And each one of till of them will be brought before Us (to judgment).-3-33. And a sign for them is the dead kind, We give it life and We bring out of it grains, then youeat of it 34. And We make to grow in there gardens with date palms and grapes. And We cause spring of water to gush out in there. 35. So that, they may eat of fruits of there. And their hands do not make this. Will they not then be graceful? 36. Glory to Allah, Who has created in pairs, all that the earth grows and of themselves (in male and female) and of things they have no knowledge. 37. And a sign for them is the night. We withdraw from there the day and look they are in darkness!38. And the sun inns on the course for a term fixed. That is the decree of the till mighty, the knower of all. 39. And for the moon, We have made stages (to run) till it comes back like the old dried curved date stalk. 40. The sun is not allowed to catch up the moon and the night can not out run the day. And each of those floats in an orbit.41. And a sign for them is that We earned their race, in the loaded ship. 42. And We have created for them similar (ships) on which they ride. 43. And if We wished, We could drown them. Then there would be no helper and they could not (also) be saved. 44. Except through mercy from Us and by way of (worldly) enjoyment for a while.45. And when they are told, "You fear (the penalty) that which is before you (for the past) and (the penalty) that which will be after you (for the future), so that you may have mercy," (but they turn away). 46. And not assign of signs of their Rab comes to them that they do nothing other than turn away from it. 47. And when they are told, "Spend''out of the rijk given to you by Allah," kafirs say to mumins, "Shall we feed those whom, Allah would have fed if Allah wished? You are in nothing other than clear error." 48. And they say, "When thispromise will come to (occur), if you are truthful?" 49. They wait for nothing other than a single blast, which will catch hold of them while they will be in disputing! 50. Then, they will not be able to dispose (of their affair) by making a will and they will not (also) be able to return to their own people!51. And the trumpet shall be blown, when look, from graves they (mankind) will lush towards their Rab! 52. They will say, "Sorrow to us! Who has raised us from our place of sleep? This is what most gracious (Allah) had promised and rasuls spoke truth!" 53. It will be no other than a single blast, when see, all will be brought before Us! 54. Then, on that day no zulum will be done on a soul at all and you shal1 not be repaid no more than your past deeds (of vices). 55. Certainly, dwellers of gardens (paradise), on tine day will be happy in all that they do. 56. They and their companions (spiritual or of marriage) will be in pleasant shade, reclining in thrones. 57. They will have great enjoyment in there and all that they ask for. 58. 'Peace!" A word (of greetings will be for them) from Rab, the most merciful.59. "And mujrims you get separated (from mumins) this day! 60. O you children of Adam, did I not Older you that you should not worship satan! In fact, he was to you a clear enemy. 61. And you should do ebadat of Me. This was the straight path. 62. And definitely, he led a great multitude of you to wrong (way). Did you not then understand? 63. Tins is the hell which you were promised. 64. You burn in there this day for that you rejected (truth)." 65. This dry, We shall set seals on their mouth and their hands will speak to Us and their feet will bear witness to what they did 66. And if it had been Our wish, We could have put out their eyes, then they would have ain about for the path. But how could they see? 67. And if it had been Our wish, We could have transformed them (to different creature or matter to stay) in their places. Then, they should have been unable to move about and (also) could not have turned back (from error).68.And whom we giant a long life, We reverse that one in creation (decreasing qualities). Will not then they understand?69.And We have not taught him (Muhammadis) poetry and it is not proper forhim. This is nothing other than a reminder and a clear Quran. 70. That it may give warning to the living and the Word on kafirs may be proved true. 71. Do not they see that We have created for them of what Our Hands have done, an'am'1, so that these are under their ownership? 72. And We put those under them. Then of those, some carry them and some they eat. 73. And from those they have (other) benefits and they get drink (milk). Will not then they be grateful? 74. And they have taken ilah, besides Allah, that they might be helped! 75. Those have not the power to help them, but those will be brought as a troop (against mushryks for judgment). 76. So, let not their sayings put you in grief. In fact, We know what they hide and what they disclose.77. Does not a person see. We have created that person from nutfah4 ? Yet, look the person becomes a clear opponent! 78. And the person puts out a similarity for Us and forgets about the creation of it.It says, 'Who will give life to these bones mid decomposed ones? 79. Say, "Allah will give them life, Who created them the first time! And Allah knows all of every creation!" 80. The Same Who produces for you lire out of the green tree, then look you kindle (fire) with it! 81. Has not Allah Who created heavens and the earth, the power to created the like of these? Certainly yes! Allah is the supreme creator, the knower of all! 82. In fact, the command of Allah, when Allah wishes a thing, is that Allah says to it, "Be," when it becomes! 83. So, be the glory to Allah, in whose hands are the kingdom of all things and to Allah you till will be brought back.
